Story

IRONWOOD | 2016 | 9 blocks. H1050 x W75 x D75 cm - 26,4 tons

The place where I was born and raised was blessed naturally, then I played there and learned many amazing things from sea and mountains.

The wealth of sea cannot exist without deep forest. And symbiosis between human and nature is one of the most important thing for us.

Through I have been made sculptures in various countries, I was very interested and affected by difference of wood culture. And I feel strong passion from wood structures made by ancient ancestors and their wisdom and skill. As my compass has been pointed my hometown,

I want to be aware of the Asian sensibility.

And, I want to seek forever, “Mind is already empty; thus it is a void.”
