The artwork “Power of the land” has been motivated by my feeling of the long history and rich cutural characteristics of every local area in our homeland, Vietnam. Through time, thousands of historical and cultural layers with countless nuances have brought to the earth their quintessence. In this art work. color pillars are shaped like those in traditional commune houses and pagodas, places of religious convergence of the local area. Flower petals are shaped variously and colorfully. Those pillars and petals give feelings of strong and colorful flower trees you can only find here in this land.
