According to the words since the olden days, “Thu Ty” was understood as the local god of each land area, each land had a god to govern, look after the fields and livestock, so before the season of cultivation or to begin a new husbandry, local people have to worship “Thu Ty”. Every family in the village who has upland fields must do this ritual. Depending on the village, each specific terrain of husbandry cultivation has their own way to hold rituals, for the Hmong people in Moc Chau they usually hold it on the mountains, where they raise chickens and pigs, that place must have large rocks. To make the main altar, on the rock with gold coins stuck with chicken blood, the offerings included chicken, pork, sticky rice... things that were watched over by “Thu Ty” during the whole year.
In today pandemic era has affected and changed the lives of all human beings in the world in a completely different way, so what about the ethnic minorities or groups of people, underprivileged and poor people in this world? Perhaps they can only live and based on the religious beliefs of themselves, a vague but historical belief of inheritance and transition still exists, the faith in the protective gods for individuals, their families, to get through the difficult epidemic time.
