Story

CAST ALUMINUM | 2015 | H210 x L310 x W300 cm - 1,77 tons

The impression of a space connected with water has always been a highlight which leaves a special impression on me and my feelings. Water becomes the centre point, creating distinct sounds and melodies. This impression inspired my idea of the “origin”. It begins with very tiny even invisible movement, such as a rain drop touching the ground, a flamingo touching the surface of a lake, the beginning of a cultural project, full of inspiration, Art in the forest. With my own sculptural language, I want to use the expression of the block of extraordinary size to create a giant, yet full-of-energy drop of water, releasing its unlimited power to all directions. I want this dissemination to be boundless, which contains an immense capacity. Another connotation is that the idea will always hold the greatest value.
